The New World

June smiled. "No problem. So enjoying your first self cooked meal?" she asked.

"Ah, ok" He said and kept eating his fish.

"That's good, so which tent do you want?"

"I don't really care, anyone goes." he answered while finishing his meal.

June smiled, "Well then you can wait or pick now but I normally sleep in the trees." she answered while looking up to find a good branch.

"Ok then" He said and sat at the fire. "It's kinda nice here." He said and smiled.

"I know what you mean, it's been a while since I've come across a place this nice."

"It would be nice living here" He said and looked into the fire.

"Yes actually it would be but too bad I'm done looking." June admitted while sighing. "Such a beautiful flame it is." she said.

"... I think I'll build something here" He said with a smile. "A house."

"Then I'll know where to look for you." June said happily before suddenly jumping into the tree and looking up at the sky. "The stars are so bright out here too."

"Mhm." He said and kept looking into the fire. "..." He took out his hand and put it in the fire.

June watched as he placed his hand in the fire and smiled. "You trully are the prince." she said while noticing that the fire was hurting him rather soothing him instead.

"It feels nice" He said and smiled.

"I can tell, have you tried bending it to your will yet?" she asked while moving a little back, not wnating to get accidently burned by the falme.

"Uhh, not really" He answered and put his head into the fire. "Cool"

June smiled and kept watching. Suddenly she had an idea. "Want to see a trick I haven't showed anyone else?" she asked, unsure as to wether he'd be interested or not.

"Yesh, yesh" He said with a smile. "I wanna see!"

June smiled then looked over to the river bed. "Okay, here goes nothing." was all she said before with drawing one of her daggers. Slowly the water began to move, to bend to her will and even made a small water sphere, small fish swimming inside of it. Almost as if in a waltz. "What do you think? I learned this just after my parents died." she admitted, trying to hold back the sadness in her voice.

"... Awesome!" He shouted and poked the water.

June smield then watched as the fish stopped their dance and swam to the center. "Looks like they don't want to be eaten." she teased before moving them and the water back into the river. "I bet you could do something similar with fire." she commented.

"..." he stirred at the fire, focusing into it's center.

June watched closely, curious as to what Malick was planning and dared not speak a word for fear she'd throw off his consentration.

He slowly moved his hand some inches above the fire and closed his eyes.

June kept her eyes on him, all the while noticing that not only had the flame gotten bigger but that it's aura, it's sense of being and its origins had altered a bit. "Wow"
