The Silver Moon

June smiled, "Good, but now what? Are we even close to the city?" she asked while trying to move to sit up if only to stand next.

"I'm not sure yet. I heard some people before, but couldn't follow them since you were out."

"Aww I'm sorry, you should have gone." she spoke while feeling a bit guilty.

"No, no. I couldn't... I was too worried about you.. it was my fault after all..."

He turned to Ai, half-surprised that she was there. "I see... What do you think?" He asked and turned to June.

"I say we go for it." June spoke happily.

"Allright" He said and smiled. "Can you stand?"

June smiled at how caring he was before speaking. "Yea, just stay close?" she questioned more than stated.

"As you wish" He said and helped her up.

Once being helped up June smiled and started to walk, getting used to be on her feet again and the soreness the pain had left behind.

"June... I'm... sorry about that..." he said and walked next to her.

"About what? This isn't and wasn't your fault so don't worry about it." she reassured Malick, all the while smiling at him warmly.

"Yes it is... by doing that kinda... It affects the body just that little thing..." he said and looked down.

June smiled none he less. "Even if that's so I don't blame you Malick. I'm the one with the seal. Its my fault for not being able to control my own power." she admitted while moving his face to lock eyes with him. "And besides, I could never blame you." she spoke warmly before giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"... Ok then!" He said and and smiled. "Then let's do our best!"

"Yes, lets" and with that June gained a little more confidence and began to walk at a faster rate. Not really fast just fast enough so that they wouldn't be traveling so slow.

"... ... ................................................................................... ..." he stumbled on the road, halfasleep.

June frowned a bit then stopped. "Looks like we're stopping again." she said before laying down next to Malick and falling asleep along side him.

"Hmnj............. Hate... stupid... moles..." He mumbled while falling asleep.

June smiled upon listening to his words as he fell asleep. "So cute, and that's why I love you so much." she wisphered before leaning into his shoulders and falling asleep.

"hmnj..." He said with a yawn and woke up around 2 hours later. "... I haven't slept for days..."

June all the while was sleeping, nuzzled against him for warmth and for comfort. However upon feeling movement she began to stir.

"Hmnj... I should have slept a little..." He said and hugged June. "Sweetie"

June stirred little by little but when she head Malick calling her smiled and open one of her eyes. "Yes hun?" she questioned innocently, as if she didn't know what time it was and what they had to do.
