June smiled, "True, she does doesn't she?"

"she can ask the trees. they know everything"

"Wow, she must be really strong." she said, amazed that there were still people around with that kind of power.

"Yeah she is! She's cool" He said with a smiled, walking happily on the road.

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah, anything." he answered with a smile.

"You like Kari don't you?"

"Yes. why?"

"Just asking, it's cute is all."

"Whatcha mean with cute?"

"You guys look happy together."

"Hmm... if you think about it... we are kinda alike" he said and tilt his head. "cool"

June smiled, "yup, i'm happy for you both."

"Thank you, I guess." he said and smiled.

June smiled and simply kept on walking. "Want more apple?" she offered.

"No thanks I'm full. So you got any crushes?" he simply asked.

"Nope, not yet anyway. I lost someone I did hold near a long time ago and it seems that scar still hasn't healed." she admitted.

"That stuff hurts. I know how it feels." He said and yawned.

"Right, hey why don't we stop and make camp. We have been walking for a while." June offered while searching with her powerful eyes for a good spot to stop and make camp at.

"sure." He answered and looked around.

"Okay then a little into the woods this way, there's a calm stream for water and a small clearing to set camp up." she said while leading the way.

"Ok" he said and followed her.

Upon arriving at the appropriate camp site June started a small fire and started to set up a couple of tents. "You want to fish or should I?" she offered.

"Fishing... I'll take it!" He said and took off his shirt and jumped into the water. "Oh, cold!" He said and half-swam in it.

June smiled as he dove in, "Make sure you catch enough...but careful too." she called while finishing one tent and starting on the next.
